About us
Welcome to the Onze Buurt Foundation. We collaborate with the OBA (public library) in Amsterdam-Noord to connect residents and strengthen neighborhood cohesion. We do this by organizing large-scale activities and events, offering sports lessons and chess tournaments, and by taking action against poverty and loneliness.
Our mission is simple yet powerful:
We bring neighbors together, strengthen social ties, and ensure no one is alone. Whether it's practical help, shared activities, or a listening ear—we believe that real change starts in our own streets.
