Volunteers and Interns:

Volunteers and interns are essential for organizations, with interns learning within a program and volunteers performing unpaid work. Although they don't receive a salary (though they often receive reimbursement for expenses), they are often considered employees under the Working Conditions Act. This provides valuable work experience, strengthens your CV, and requires specific guidance, especially for young people.

Important differences and rules:

Intern: Completes an internship as part of a training course, with an internship agreement.

Volunteer: Does voluntary and unpaid work for society or an organization.

Working Conditions Act: Under the Working Conditions Act, both interns and volunteers are considered employees, meaning that organizations are responsible for safe working conditions.
